I love a surly grump but this guy was a piece of work。 I don’t think I liked anything about him。 The heroine had a backbone， which was a nice surprise。

Breathtaking。 In one fail swoop， I devoured this book。 I love a good single dad， small town romance as much as the next gal。 But you throw in the second chance trope and I am a goner for sure。 This was easily a five star from the prologue。 Jake， Harper & Sydney are freaking beautiful。 I love everything about the dynamic and nature of their bond。 Rae struck gold again， stealing my heart， one grumpy man at a time。 If you haven’t read it， here’s your sign。

As always Harloe has done it again and gave us another amazing book。 I have to admit I was skeptical at the beginning because I really didn’t like Jake， but like the miracle writer she is， by the end I was totally in love with JJ。 The star of the whole book was Jake’s daughter Sydney。 What an adorable ball of energy。 The twist in the end just made the story more perfect。 Great story with the spice Harloe is know for。 You won’t be disappointed if you one click。

This book was close to being a DNF because Jake was a jerk and literally made wanna punch him in the nose on how he treated Harper and it was so hard to push through the first few chapters。 But I’m glad I was able to push through and finish the book and fell in love with Jake and Harper and happy with how everything ended。 Jakes daughter （Sydney） stoled my heart instantly。 I would recommend this book to anyone。 Specially with the spicy scenes in the book 😍
